Library Update

Jun 16, 2005 15:45

Okay, so the title is misleading. I am not updating my library, nor is this update about a library. Well, it might be, but the original intention is not that.

No, I am updating from the library, because I cannot go home.

Well, I could, but I don't really want to.

Oh the complexity of all these damn words.

I got really angry last night, with good reason I'll have you know, but way angrier than I have been in a long time. I hit Taylor really hard, and of course, got into tons of trouble for it.

Not that anyone gets into trouble when they hit me.

But that is another story.

So I am at the fancy new library, mooching their internet. It tells me I have... 117 minutes left.

But but but!!!!

Better than all of that:

I am sitting in a spinny chair.

But not any sort of spinny chair. A brand new one. the spinnign motion is sooo smooth.

CHANGE OF SUBJECT

I wrote my timedwriting piece in Writer's Craft today. it was pretty intense. My fingers hurt.

I wrote about a boy who gets up in the middle of the night to have a peanut butter and honey sandwich then finds a one legged Dutch parachuter in his backyard. I'm actually sort of happy about it. Sort of.

And speaking of. I had peanut butter and honey for lunch, but it leaked and I have random honey on my elbow. How uncomfortable.

Wow. It took me like... three tries to spell uncomfortable right. And two tries just then.

Ouch.

Did I mention that the new Terry Prachett books I bought are awesome? Well, the one I'm reading now is awesome. 'Guards! Guards!'

Hee hee. It's about dragons.

112 minutes left. I must type fast. I don't look at the screen you know? Most people do, or in any case I think that a lot of people do, because isn't that the way people are taught?

I have to watch my fingers. They go really fast.

Ms. Grisdale is making us cookies for tomorrow, and we get pizza because our section won at being the best class.

I might actually miss this semester. Mr. Malkin, although I bitch about his harsh marking ruburic [is that how you spell 'ruburic'], he's a really great way to start my day. If I can't start with Ms. Stokes-Harris.

Oh yes, she's REALLY been avoiding me. She knows how much the play meant to me, then when she had to cut me, it upset her, because she really does like me. I think. Or she's a bitch. Either way, she has not even met my eyes since the auditions.

Oh waily waily.

Pizza and cookies and ancient history. How fun. Only bad part? I have to go to religion in between. We had a psycho supply teacher today.

Shane was higher than I've seen him in a long time, and he left three times for more, so she yelled at him.

Um lady? Yelling at the dereanged coke addict who sits at the back of the class:

a] doesn't mean he's going to listen.
b] isn't going to stop him from being an ass, or a cokehead.
c] is really pissing me off, because some of us are trying to sleep through the movie.

Ugh.

Caitlin is off to Dublin now, and Sabine left for Lebanon yesterday. I gave them both specific instruction to send me a postcard. I love getting mail.

I don't think I spelt 'Lebanon' right, but it will have to stay like so, because I only have 104 minutes left. How sad.

Ooh! We got our anthologies from Writer's Craft today too! I love it. I hope most people are in class tomorrow, so they can sign it. I'm a whore for the signatures.

Peace little kitties! (101 minutes!)

school, friends
