Sloan, My Love
Brought Abby out for a walk after we said bye to Claudine and brought my mp3 player. Today's 'album of day', it told me, is Sloan's 4 Nights at the Palais Royale. I had all but forgotten about this album under the onslaught of new musical loves.
And let me tell you, I feel like a knob for that. If you've never heard Sloan, I implore you to check them out. 4 Nights is a live album, so it might not be the best place to start (I still love it more than I love toast and pirates put together though). I recommend One Chord to Another. The entire album is mind blowing. I mean, I don't know jack about music in the sense of having any education, but I can tell you that there is not a song on that album that doesn't make me feel something.
Sloan, I love you so much and you will forever be the music that reminds me of the good stuff that happened in high school. I'm sorry I've neglected you. I promise it won't happen again. TSwift is no where near as pretty as you anyways.* Sloan, take me back and I promise you can be the soundtrack to my life again.
