I like this one. You might be able to get a PDF somewhere for cheaper than $9.99, but I don't know for sure.

This book would be rated a PG-13 to soft R. The reviews are complimentary; but I agree with the first reviewer who said it seemed a bit odd that so many people accepted the relationship between the two protagonists, seeing as how it was illegal at the time. But really, that is a very minor point.

Edit: A friend sent me a doc of her original detective/slash story. If you'd like to have a copy, PM me your email. I've read it, and it's quite good.

I've got the word out, so when I get more recs, I'll let you know.

Thanks! I've downloaded the free chapter from Amazon; it looks like an interesting book. I want to start reading now but I'm afraid if I do I won't get any of my work done (which I've been neglecting for a bit too long now . . .) so it'll have to wait a bit. Thanks for the rec!

Well I finished the book (work schmurk) and I loved it. I'm a sucker for anything that involves music. If you can think of any other books, I'd love to know . . .looking for my next distraction!
