Relay for Life!
Hey all you beautiful Live Journal People!
I wanted to get the word out that I am doing a Relay for Life walk at the end of the month. What is that you ask? It is a 24 hour walk that I will be doing with a team of my friends! For 24 hours, at least one of us will, at all times, be strutting our stuff around a track at UCSD. We will camp overnight and stay around supporting our team and all of the walkers for a full 24 hours. All of this is in support of cancer survivors, a memorial to those who have passed and a fund raiser for cancer research.
Personally, I am doing this walk for my aunt who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in January of this year. She is undergoing chemotherapy currently and so far things look really good for her. This is my indirect way of helping.
I'm doing well on the psyching myself up for the walk, I'd appreciate your help in the fund raising part. Every dollar counts and there is no such thing as a small donation. Please visit my personal website for the walk and help out if you can.
