Her ladyship’s next destination was at the archery range. She could not stand going back to the Health Centre, not when it was crowded with the unwashed masses and certainly not when she knew one Johnny Kitagawa would be throwing the whole Health Centre into an uproar with his therapy session. If there was one thing Lady Strange could not abide by, it was patients who threw their weight around like this Kitagawa person ( ... )

“What… What has it to do with focus? Is it because I’m a closet narcissist?” he asked, shaking his head in a futile bid to dispel the notion. “How can I be a narcissist when I care about what others think and how I’m perceived? I am aware of the expectations everyone has on me - my mother’s expectations, my father’s, even Masaki’s. You’re losing the plot, milady ( ... )

“Because foolish mortals always think they’re in control of Fate when they’re not. Whenever they attempt to browbeat the fate and bending fate to their will for a ‘sweeter’ future, they run mad as if obsessed by that very desire. The seductively sweet belief that you can control your fate drives you to insanity; and the Fates, being supremely wise and beautiful women want to punish men for their presumption. C’est tout,” she said, releasing another arrow, this time close to his elbow ( ... )

Lovely bit about narcissus. I love that flower, I love the many stories about its origin...and how fitting for M. Sakurai!! I have this slight plight though. I don't know how much about the flower's significance I should reveal to M. Sakurai. Too much would make things boring--we don't want Sho with the blinders to have too much information. Too little information and perhaps it might be glossed over even by M. Sakurai (but I bet it would be that much more fun to watch as spectators)....What to do...

'Do not pass GO' XDDD I say that to people all the time and most people look at me like I am crazy. Those ignorant bastards!

Sho!torture--It was lovely, milady, all the way down to his return to the surface via cardio-arrow. *bows and applauds the wonderful shooting*

Hmmmm...Basically, narcissus in floriology just means (a) egotism, and (b) numbness. Just tell M. Sakurai that and see if he join the dots between (a) and (b). If he can't, then we'll send Mikeila to him again. She's your agent from your circle of hell, so it is up to you to do the dirty work. *winks* Besides, it is too much to expect Sho to understand the whole connexion between the Fates wearing narcissus in their hair and all that. *rolls eyes and whispers 'unsophisticated philistine' sotto voce at M. Sakurai ( ... )

Good advice.

Yes, believe it, milady. And Monopoly is such a delightful game too! Usually I can never get anyone to play with me *sighs dejectedly*

HA! Who would've guessed. I didn't realize that the middle finger was of archery origins. How about that? As to be expected from her ladyship. Always the provider or some interesting piece of information. Yes, I am a collector of random trivia. People are always shocked when I bring random bits of information out from the archives. Apparently I don't look like I should be remotely intelligent....Whatever that is supposed to mean...BASTARDS!

Sho just has to know the meanings. And to him, egotism would appear to contradict numbness. He won't be able to join the dots initially, but he will puzzle over it and be miserable ovet it. Ta da!

Ah, monopoly. I haven't played it years. I have a small magnetic version of the game. That's it. I could play with you... *grins cheekily*

Imbeciles, we're surrounded by imbeciles. I always tell people not to give me the middle finger unless they want to point an arrow at me. But of course, no one got the meaning. *rolls eyes*. Perhaps people ascribe their own traits to others in the "i don't use my brain, therefore, no one does either" syllogism. Who knows?

Luckily, Kazu's turning out quite nicely using his brain. Bless his heart.
