Battlestar Galactica

The wife and I finally finished BSG last night.
We have not yet seen "The Plan", so that may change my opinion of the show.

I felt over all the series has a good start.
Yes, there are many plot holes, and some things that just make no sense.
I don't like how every season was split into two parts, or drama elements were just injected into the show at random.

However, by the end of season two, I was sure the show would end in one of two ways:
They would find earth, but it would be after a nuclear holocaust.
-or-
They would find earth, but circulation reset, and they were dealing with cave men.

If you have not seen the show, I won't give away what happened, other then to say I was right.

The big epic final battle ended by a corpse, in space, with lack of gravity.
This corpse happens to be in a ship, floating dead in the vacuum of space, with a large hold in the front window. The crew is dead, and her arm is floating. Magically, gravity takes effect, and the hand falls on a button to launch a whole bunch of nukes. Someone tell me how that works?

Lots of plots are left dangling.

Over all, I think they brought Stanley Kubrick in to finish the show for them. I really can not say how disappointed I am with how they ended the show. I really have no want to watch Caprica now.
