Last night I saw Coraline with Jenny, an old friend from High School.
(she moved up to Oregon, and was down to visit.)
Anywho, if I was not sure before, I am now.
Neil Gaiman is the king of modern day faerie tails.
This flick was awesome. Hands down.
It was creepy in just the right way, and had all the normal fae traps.
There was a Faerie Circle in the woods, Faerie Food that was better then the real kind.
Everything about it was perfect. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is thinking about it.
It has a similar style to Nightmare Before Christmas, but less cartoon-like in plot.
After all, it is much like a fae tail... it's not nice, and shows what could happen if you don't play the game right.
