Mom: So go back to your stew.
Me: *picks at stew*
Mom: you know, that's what Karen used to do!!! Never eat anything I made.
Me: i DO eat what you make!!!! God!
Mom: *endless bitching*
Me: *picks up plates and trashes them*
Mom: You have to start eating better! You can't just have lunch at school and then something when you come in and that's it! You can kid all you want but you aren't kidding anyone but yourself.
Me: Oh how DRAMATIC ARE WE?
And that marked the end of tonight's dinner. I thought that was pretty journal-worthy. Another journal-worthy thing: it was 10 years ago today my mom got operated on for her cancer.
