I had an icky experience in the opticians today. I tried to get contact lenses, but my eyes majorly objected, so ouchie ouchie ouchie.
But i did get some massively groovy fcuk black and white plastic framed glasses, and some spares in this cool purple colour, they're both v.60's.
I got a beautiful vintage-look satin evening bag to go with both my debs ball outfits today. It was in my favourite shop in my little town, it's called The French Rooms and it's an aladdins cave of covetability! It's overflowing with vintage style costume jewellery and beautiful gem-set mirrors and things generally fit for a princess. I'm going back in tomorrow to look for some jewellery to match debs dress no.1. That's the Audrey inspired outfit. A tres chic beaded black evening dress, with long satin evening gloves and my beautiful 4 inch stilleto Berties (which are obviously very Carrie). I'm wearing my hair slightly backcombed to look like hers in Breakfast at Tiffany's with a little Markazite slide in it at the front, instead of a full on tiara. Tatty Divine, yes, Tacky Divine, no thanks.
I saw my guy during his lunch break today, we bickered about everything from me getting a slush puppy to him liking soccer, and then he kissed me senseless before he left, whilst still complaining that I taste like cola slush puppy (or that "disgusting sugary crap" as he catchily called it). It was great, he probably does it on purpose because he knows romance disgusts me. Such a sweetie, hehe.
