It's my birthday!

and the really sad part is i actually pulled out my script to get the line right]

You should all give me money, because i know you've got to like me by at least a dollar's worth, and because i want to buy myself a 36 degree Source Four ellipsoidal for my birthday, donate it to the little theatre, come back in 10 years and ask for it back, have the then lighting designer look at me in absolute horror and say "you what?! fuck no bitch, i need this more than you do.", in which case i will get some one to go bitch slap her (as if we'd have another male lighting designer, phsaw) and get me my light back. At least that is my current plan. Of course if no one is feeling charitable and i don't feel like spending ALL of my savings on an instrument (light) then I'll give you back your money and continue designing my plots with one less special (light).

I'm not planning a party because, to be honest, they scare me.
