There Is A Curse In Knowing What You Want.

Don't cry child. I know you are in pain. We understand the feeling. It hurts right now, but it will go away. Nothing last forever. With every ounce of pain, you are growing. Into what- well that's up to you. When all is said and done, your life is your own. You will surely be in pain again. But there is always reason to scrutinize. A lesson behind every breath. But don't worry about learning all you can, or growing so very much. Someday you will gain everything you can, for the sake of being a story when your gone. Possibly build up to make someone else's life easier. Because listen.. When they all someday tell you- 'Enjoy it while you can, things get worse.' Then they laugh it off. They never seem to let you know it's true. They may all say it differently, try to give hope maybe; but it's the same result.
The world is cold. It does not ask for respect. While all the while respecting your choice to respect it or not- it still demands respect. Everything happens because it happens. That is life. Life is a double edged sword. There doesn't have to be a reason for things happening. Giving the happening a reason is just for the convenience for emotions and society. To help further live life in more depth. Which, there is nothing wrong with. We're alive, we may as well all live it to our fullest desired potential. Though the question of what happens after this life. That is another thing entirely. What do you want to happen? Will there be more? Something to become of the work you put into your life? Or just build up an empire/a legacy just as a memorial to your existence for just a little while. Life just being a game to see how long you can last after your death? But a game would imply that there is something to gain from it in the end. But really, no one can tell. Even if we had established for certain, another life after this one, then we will only ask.. What is after that? Be sure of your possessions, after all of this, you aren't what you own, you are who you make yourself out to be. Your possessions only project or help you create who you are. But go somewhere where you have no possessions, and that is who you are.
For some people, they can see life as a time-line to their end. Everything in between is their life. But when they reach the end, then that's that. Simply means, what was in between is over and then may as well be nothing. Makes some ask why care about things in life. But we don't control all of our lives. There will always be emotions we cannot control. In those moment when we feel our emotions, we truly know we're alive. But don't think that in our purest emotions that there is an exception to life's overbearing double edged scheme. Namely the concept of love. It is possibly for everyone to feel a pure feeling of love undoubted. It can be one of the best feelings in life. Everyone alive is born with the potential to feel this emotion, that is just life. Though not everyone may get the chance to feel it. Fortunately though, feelings are something we don't have to interpret for ourselves, we'll know when we feel it. These feelings can bring people so much joy. But one thing lovers always notice, but never seem to put into the larger picture.. The bad times in life always seem to last, when the good times go away all too quickly. When you put that into the idea of finding love, it is almost as if finding love and being happy is asking for help to meeting your end as quickly as possible. But at least your asking not to go alone? I suppose that depends on how Shakespearean your story is.
As dark as these ideas may seem, don't let them discourage you. Despite any futile lessons composed, that will not change the fact that you are still living this life. We only live our lives but once. That is certain. Nothing will ever change that. Even if there is life after this one. Even if there ever is reincarnation. No matter what, we will still only have the chance to live this very life as who we are right now only once. So make what you want of it. We only get the one shot. Thinking of that in retrospect, so many times we'll say to ourselves, "Fuck..." But the better question is how many times will we let us find ourselves saying that? In the end all that you are is all that you do.
