Updated to-do list
I need to:
1) Finish Philosophy Paper

2) Internship Application
KA wants to meet with me before writing a letter, but my old boss was just like "Sure, I'll do it!" so that's good. I still have no idea what a statement of professional objectives is, but that's ok. I should ask my mom. It's too late in the evening for that. I can wait to write this statement, though. It's not due until next Friday and I won't be able to get everything in until I get those letters.
3) SIP
So, as I mentioned, I just threw around the word "postmodern" a lot and I'm too tired to go back and be like, "let's clean this up a little bit..." I sent it to John Marth to read over, hopefully he won't think I'm retarded. He might already, but that's ok. He said I was sweet, so I'm happy. I should send him another message about how he should not judge me on this shitty piece of paper, but I don't think he will. I called him babydoll which should make up for everything.
4) Methods Paper
I looked over the prompt realized this isn't due until the Friday after break. I still want to at least outline it. Maybe finish reading Portrait. I think I might start brain storming and coming up with a tentative thesis while I'm still awake. I'm writing on Helene Cixious, though /swoon. I don't care if she's silly, I love her.
5) Read poetry books for Whitman/Dickinson

So let's map this week out:
Friday: I came home and watched TV.
Saturday: Spent all day in bed because I was sick as a dog.
Sunday: FInished my Philosophy Paper and went out to dinner with my family in Little Italy. Ordered Alba wine for my family and stole my dad's wine glass. Got tipsy. Saw a man in a kilt and screamed "SHOW ME YOUR GOODS" and my mom told me to shut up because "the goods aren't always that good."
Monday: Mostly finished my internship application. Started my SIP.
Tuesday: Woke up at 9, got my emissions tested (as I told Paul, FARTS), oil changed, and got a Red Eye with orange flavored coffee. BEST. DRINK. EVER. Worked on my SIP then fell asleep for three hours. Had dinner, then took my brother out to get a DS and Pokemon. He couldn't find any cheap so we gave up and went home. Finished my SIP, sent it to John Marth, and am now getting ready to work on my cross stitch project.
Wednesday: Start working on my Methods Paper while switching it up with my poetry reading.
Thursday: Continue Wednesday's work. See Stomp with the fam.
Friday: Continue on work and maybe go up to Silver Spring to see people.
Saturday: Go back to school (AKA Patrick's) and spend time with Patrick. I hardly get to see him ever. But soon he'll be done leading instruction, he said, which means LESS WORK. Which means I can see him more maybe. We'll see.
In any case. This break is very productive for me. I'm even getting to read Jane Eyre again and I should start reading Gender Trouble by Judith Butler soon. In any case, hurrah!
