One of my friends actually loathes Crystal Kay for reasons unbeknownst to me, but I can't help but like a few of her songs, this being one of them. It's such a great, upbeat duet between her and Chemistry in a kind of "he said, she said" style. Chemistry also released a second version of Two As One, which flips the main vocals over to them instead of Crystal Kay. 涙があふれても slows down into a ballad, but it's pleasant, and better, I think, than MY EVERYTHING.

YOU KNEW IT WAS COMING. Shuuji to Akira is comprised of 山下 智久 (Yamashita Tomohisa) and 亀梨和也 (Kamenashi Kazuya), from the popular Johnny's Ent. boybands NewS and KAT-TUN, respectively. The two, who were childhood friends originally, both co-starred in the drama Nobuta wo Produce, and the two paired up to record the theme song for the show. カラフル is Yamashita's solo, and 絆 is Kamenashi's. Personally I'm only interested in the title track, which is a catchy, latin-flavored pop tune with a cute matching dance routine to boot.

This is my absolute FAVORITE Hirahara Ayaka song - it even beats out Jupiter for me. She has such a beautiful voice, and the piano is such a perfect complement to her talent. She sounds delicate but powerful, a combination that I really admire. On top of that I think she's really classy/elegant. Anyway, enough fangirling. What are you waiting for? Download this! XO
