I'M MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like it went by so fast! I keep looking at my ring like "oohhh yeahh..that DID happen, didn't it?" haha. We leave for SC in three hours so I won't have much time to post until I get back next sunday, but I just thought i'd post that i'm officially someone's other half for the rest of my life :)

In general, the day went off without a hitch. I kept my cool the entire time and didn't yell or fuss with anybody. I didn't want to be a bridezilla! My cousin, who was one of my bridesmaids, got under my skin a little bit right before we left because asked me to do her hair after she sat on the bed and watched me do my makeup for an hour and had said that she was just going to do something simple with it. Thank god I had another bridesmaid who came in and curled her hair (her entire head) for her at the last second. I mean, come on now, i'm getting ready and i'm gonna stop what i'm doing to help you do your hair because you decided to change your game plan last second? No thanks. Heh. Getting ready for the wedding was surprisingly calm, though. The whole time I felt like I was getting ready for someone else's party and not my own. Does that make sense? I guess it was because i'm not accustomed to being the center of attention!

My ceremony was beautiful. The girls and I had gotten ready in a special room and when it was time to line up to walk outside I was left all by myself in the room. I was just standing there, posing with my bouquet for what seemed like forever. I started yelling "I'M BOREDDD!" and "I'M LONEELLYYY!" to my girls in the hallway and had them all telling me to shut up. Haha.  My Dad and I were giggling while we were walking down the aisle because we both thought we'd be more nervous. He was joking about tripping on my train when he went to stand beside me and I had to jab him a little with my elbow to get him to shut up and JUST WALK ALEADY. Haha. Rich totally cried and I had to do one of those laughs where you're trying to hold it in and you all of a sudden just have to let go. It was cute, but it was funnier that he was crying and I wasn't. When we did our vows we held hands and squeezed each other at the most meaningful parts. THANK GOD IT DID NOT RAIN. It was thundering about 20 minutes beforehand and I thought I was going to die if I had to hear that we needed to have the ceremony inside. It waited until this morning to rain! :)

During the reception we had to kiss about 23434353 times because there were bells on the table. We really didn't mind but at one point we were like "SHUT UP WE'RE EATING!" haha. I kicked off my shoes after the formal dances and danced for most of the rest of the night. We had a dance-off during Billie Jean and I made everyone come on the dance floor for the cha cha slide and the macarena. I remember also going over to our table and randomly leaning over my chair to stuff my face with cake and melted ice cream because i'd never had a chance to sit down to have it before. Also, when we cut it we butchered it because nobody showed us how we should do it beforehand. Rich  was like "you cut it!" and I was like "we're suppose to cut it together, you dingbat" haha.

My face hurt from smiling by the end of the night and my feet were aching from all the dancing. Rich and I went back to our hotel room and crashed. We had a few romantic moments (because, well, you know) and then completely passed out. It was when we woke up this morning that we realized ohhh yes, we really are married!

THANK YOU to everyone who could make it out to see us. When I get back i'll be able to give more detail and truly write how everything made me feel but it was so wonderful to see everyone's faces out there. It was everyone I truly love all in one room and that's the best feeling in the world. I'll always be grateful that I have such wonderful friends and family. I'll never get to see all these people in once place again! Thank you all, and I love you very much!

See you when I get back!
