I finally found Malado in her apartment. She happily helped me call the ticket office to get Il Divo tickets. And what happened was exactly what I expected -- sold out with a 300-person-long waiting list. HOWEVER, they're coming to Frankfurt in early May. May the saga continue.
Something amazing happened yesterday involving Star Wars and mormons.
There's this elderly lady that rides the same bus that our group does. Every time anyone goes near her, she screams at them, makes obscene gestures, and just generally does mean things. Things that you would not expect to see from such a little old lady. Well David and I are scared of her, and have nicknamed her "the emperor." In fact, we plan our bus rides around her, just so that we don't have to see her. SHE IS THAT SCARY. Well yesterday we had to ride the bus with her because the next bus after it was 20 minutes away and the tram wasn't coming fast enough. So we got on, and some American mormons got on, and they asked her if "this seat" was taken. David and I cringed, because we just knew that they would get the emperor's wrath. Instead, she smiled and started talking to them about the time she went to Germany on a boat. And I was like hey, go mormons, look at you.
I had to throw away my strawberries, but I have neat candles and tomato juice and a ponytail and I think I'll save the rest for
candlesnpanties.
Justina wants to visit me. David should have come ten minutes ago so that we could get laundry together. We played French monopoly together. He won.
