[Well, you've caught his interest, at least.]

Is it quite safe to presume that you shall extend information of your own in return?

Depends on what you ask, after all. There's some information that's really rather personal, Xerxes, we really don't know each other that well.

But of course. I would so hate to pry into your personal life.

It'd be rather rude of you, after all.

Yes, attempts to pry into what one wishes to keep secret generally are considered rude.

Also, unfortunately often necessary.

A simple 'yes' or 'no' will do, Break.

Oh? My apologies for not being clear, Naoya.

Yes.

As expected...it's just nice to have these things confirmed.

Now then...you had questions? An answer for an answer...is fair enough, mn?

Quite fair, yes.

Since it is rather clear magic exists for you, I will attempt to not be redundant and simply ask you how it works instead. It seems every world has a different form of 'magic', after all.

IN WHICH KAJI MAKES THIS SHIT UP! un_forgetting February 19 2010, 12:03:19 UTC
Ahh...an excellent question.

In my world, magic is based on two things--the ritual used to cast it, and having a strong 'will'. Having the energy to sustain the effects is also necessary, since without the energy, you're not getting anywhere.

The rituals for magic spells can be eventually boiled down to their bare components if one has the will and the mastery. The rituals for magic tend to be much simpler than those used for demon summoning.

Recently, a computer program was created that replicated all the steps of a ritual for the user. It also provided the emotional component, therefore only requiring the user to provide the energy and the command.

[Computer...? Gah, sounds like more of this modern technology, and he really needs to update himself on these things--]

I see. That is indeed quite fascinating~
