All cultures have different views on the severity of different crimes, but most of them view what is deemed as 'murder' as highly unfavorable. Many modern cultures view it as 'unforgivable', locking such people away or killing them for their sin. [...Heh.]
And yet, war is never regarded as murder, for all blood still stains the hands of every soldier. And while 'Thou Shalt not Murder' is one of His Ten Commandments, murder in His name is not only morally acceptable, but seemingly encouraged. Strange, for such a supposedly loving God.
So then...why is it that 'murder' is only unforgivable in certain circumstances?
