Since arriving in France, I've learned that my food vocabulary is not at all extensive. Show me a menu from an upscale restaurant, and I will probably be able to readily recognize a third of what's listed. With the various sauces and different ways of preparing things (Bernaise? Oh Man, best story ever. I started cracking up at the "I half-expected to hear seagulls" and basically died when I read "...smell like a barge." Thanks for making my evening :)

I did the same thing ... i must say you made my night, but its unfortunate you had to deal with that. You know that I HATE fish as well lol. hahahaha ... dehydrated shrimp ... haha! i looove you! Go find some real chips lol :0)

Luckily I bought pretzels too. I've been munching on those all day with a chocolate bar. And peanut butter.

It's a wonder I don't weigh 400 lbs.

Actually, shrimp flavored chips sound interesting. I love shrimp and oysters. I understand what you mean about allergic reactions. I knew a girl in college who almost died due to an allergic reaction to crab legs.

Fortunately I'm not allergic to anything that I know of, but allergic reactions can be awful. My first boyfriend would blow up like a blowfish if he ever got stung by a bee.
