I am happy that you like your job! It is so rare for people (especially our age) to be doing something that they want to be doing. I walk down the corridors of my job everyday and think to myself, 'how much longer? How much longer will I do this?' I want to work with little kids, specifically abused kids or kids with learning disabilites. I want to make things, do art, make a difference. But everyday I do the same thing: Go to work, work all day, come home exhausted, zone out in front of the computer/tv, feel a twang of regret as I lay in bed, fall asleep, repeat. I don't know where to start. And I seem to always have something huge on my plate that needs to be dealt with first.

I am done venting.

I would like to come see you play. If you can pick me up from my mom's b/fs house I most certainly can come see you play, otherwise I don't know how I could get down to Tempe. Fucking valley. Is there a bus that runs from Gilbert to Tempe that won't take like 5 hours? I hate how isolated Phoenix is for people who don't have cars.

Anyways lovie, it sounds like you are doing good for yourself and I am proud of you. You did cosmetology and you stuck through and fuck if I can claim sticking with anything to the end. And now you have a job that you love with an awesome boss. You want to trade? My grumpy crumudgeon from north boston isn't so bad on his good days.
