MTV, i really lub you these days espeshlee when you show those wonderful, wonderful vh1 shows. There was 100 most wanted bodies and 100 greatest one hit-wonders (macarena topped the list). really good stuff man.
And i was extremely pleased to watch the music videos of feist's inside and out and portishead's glory box on MTV music revolution/amplified. something i didnt think was possible. naturally, i was jumping like a maniac when i saw these videos.
ok so another reason im happy is coz i've been watching alot of anime and they are really awesome stuff. i'm really excited abt the one i'm watching now too and its got like 50+ episodes. so yay!
So apart from anime-watching, i'm trying to catch up on all the movies i've wanted to watch in the past but couldnt. i saw True Romance the other day and it was laha. The scene between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper was short but memorable as hell. Next up is probably Brokeback Mountain. its been on my laptop for the longest time but ever since heath died, i'm kinda afraid to watch the show. Strange but true. But for jake's sake, i shall be brave.
Anyway, i was watching tv late on sunday, think it was Underworld on channel 5, when i saw a trailer of some local fashion tv show. usually it wouldnt catch my attention coz i'd be off making supper or something, but i couldve sworn i saw rebecca tan on tv. i looked it up online and really lah, internet is my bff.
FASHION FORWARD
This new 30-minute series is not just for fashionistas or those who can convincingly sprout sentences such as "Oh, I think those new Manolo Blahniks are simply divine, darling"; but also for those who want to find out what's hot and what's not in the wonderfully-ever-changing world of fashion, in which today's silk purse can be tomorrow's pig's ear.
Model Rebecca Tan is host, as she talks to the people in the know.
What to look out for: There's a special segment in which we look at the fashion faux pas made by some of our most "fashionable" celebrities as the cameras go right inside their homes and raid their wardrobes.
And oh, let's not forget the delightfully-delectable dish that is the host, of course! She's impossibly good-looking, and no man can forget that milk ad, right? Like, what's there not to like about her?
Fashion Forward starts March 11 and is on every Tuesday at 10pm.
