the truth is out there
so quick update. i am currently obsessed with the movie "Contact" starring Jodie Foster. i just love love love jodie. it was kinda weird seeing her make out and all with matthew mcconaughy though. i mean, he's hot and all but it was just...weird.
Why do i love jodie? we all know she is smart. but do u know that she speaks french fluently? she can even sing in french lor. she was also valedictorian of her high school then she went to yale, graduated magna cum laude in 1985 (same yr as jennifer beals!) with a degree in english literature, i think. and she has a very distinct way of pronouncing her "s". And she's a really good actress lah. why she wasnt nominated for best actress for her role in "Contact" is beyond me. check out the trailer for the movie below if ure interested.
so anyway, great movie. if u like sci-fi existentialist kinda movies, u prob would like this. i definitely need to read the book it was based on though. books are almost always better than the movies. i would scratch the almost but wat can i say, GP lessons taught me not to make sweeping statements.
exams starts in 2 wks and what am i doing? im googling jodie foster and stephen hawking. its an improvement though. usually i'd be doing useless things like these during reading wk.
