the void

I'm writing this article for a website, I was wondering if Hux or Wing might be able to give me some tips on my writing

The Void,
As a human being I'm sure you've felt "the void", some people describe it as an absence of god, or an absence seeking fulfillment. The Void, for lack of better words, is your separation. Many people find many ways to fill "the void", but are disheartened by feeling the void not filled, but expanded. I personally have tried to fill "void" with a number of indulgences. The void does not have purpose, but in reality does not exist. The nature of the void is, in my opinion humanities struggle to reconnect with God.

When I was a child, I did things considered sinful not because I didn't know better, but because I didn't know the consequences besides parental given ones. I now believe in one punishes oneself with feelings of guilt and self hatred. I soon began to notice through several fail attempts at fulfillment, that there is no physical way to quench this thirst for the unknown. The absence of a love, despite having a capable parent, was overwhelming. At one point in my life, I felt a loss of innocence through knowledge. I felt that I had been severed from something meaningful, this may have been due to puberty , but the feeling remains.

The Void, has been describe best as a drug addiction, the need to get more, or the never quenching want of something, literally all consuming desperate desire. God by any name is a personal believe, God without name, is faith. Everyone believes in something, but words and books have defined, separated and discriminated. I have heard people feeling the ," lack of God" also know as ,"the Void" in their lives. Faith is always in humans, or temples and Gods would not have been named to this day.The fact that here are parts of the brain which respond to meditation or praying and that is undeniable. But is who you pray to really a controversial matter? When Buddhists and satanists* alike believe in punishment of unrighteous deeds. Faith fills the void, a true belief in something, without racial or social borders. A faith defined by knowledge without religion's morals in mind, but the betterment of humanity.

A moral being in the twenty-first century, has no need to think so far in depth, as the distractions from pure information and truth without bias or cencoreship is completely unattainable. The void exists and reminds us, of what we lack. In my opinion, the lacking is therein distraction. A void is forming because we are searching for easy answers,as Maynard James Keenan once sang "Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability, to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.". I would imagine the world has no greater a threat then ignorance and pacifism. A failure to see or to see at all, the larger picture to our humanity. Not just "filling the void", but closing the void all together.

In conclusion, A void has been made due to our human quest for fulfillment, with deception and distraction. Easy enough to just, distract you hungry mind with un-fulfilling pleasures. Using your physical body to alter your perceptions and tranquilize you mind. Using your body to feel love, instead of being loved or self love. Using your materialistic therapy to give yourself every comfort but happiness. These are all consequences of ignorance, if there was a true good name for God, it would be knowledge, compassion, and faith because that is what fills the void.
