I jumped from secular to Roman Catholic when I was 20. Best choice I ever made. The Church is so beautiful, and I love being a part of the Body of Christ. The Eucharist continues to blow my mind on a regular basis.

I used to be a devoted Catholic when I was a little girl, and a few years ago I converted to a more ambiguous spirituality, because the more subtle principles of the church just didn't agree with me.
But my family is Catholic and they find great comfort in their religion, so I can understand why you feel that way since I used to when I was much younger. I'm glad that you find peace, serenity, and love in the house of our lord.
*hugs*

You know, the Church on Earth might not be perfect, but I think that in the big stuff it really is. Sometimes I find the little things really hard, but the big stuff, the God and Jesus and Body, give me such comfort. I think it can be difficult to be an adult within a well-defined faith {everybody has their favorite gay Wiccan uncle(: }, but I honetstly can't live without it. God bless you both, in the mmost sincere way.
