How's the pace been for this game? I've been told it's medium-slow, but it just seems to...grow a lot everyday. And I play in two other games sooo I'd really like to know if it'd be all right to app here if I regulate myself.

The game usually gets between two to five posts a day unless we're in the middle of an event/new characters are introducing themselves, so I'd say it tends more between medium-fast. Most players are totally fine with backtagging, so if you want to take a week to finish a thread it's no issue. Gargle is extremely manageable. The activity check is every month; you can either make two posts to the network, one post and one log, or one post and one thread where your character made 20 comments. That last one can also be two threads where your character made ten comments-- two or three threads to reach 20 comments a month is fine. More than that and it starts being a bit ridiculous though. :P

Overall I think you should be fine if you regulate yourself-- a lot of the players are in two or three games including this one. Uhm, hope that helped! o/

How easy is CR to get? I mean, I know we're often told to tag around first but in general, how welcome to the idea of CR with a newbie/unknown chara are the players?

& OOC communication, does chat participation make a huge factor, because I'm the type to avoid chatrooms like whoa.

STILL THE SAME PLAYER also lj notifs love me really.

Anyway... CR is super easy to get. The players are friendly-- I know everyone says that, but I really mean it, haha. We have things to help gather CR-- roommates are randomized until you get to a certain level, and each month your character needs to get a mission/job, so there's available CR with both coworkers and roommates pretty much right off the bat. There's also neighbors, since some characters are totally the kind to go ask for some sugar next door. Or, more likely to happen in this game, if your neighbor just destroyed his room, your character is pretty certain to see/hear the commotion. New characters happen every two weeks, so sometimes there's not as many responses to an introduction post with a lesser known character.

And finally, even though we theoretically have a game chat, no one really uses it. OOC communication happens more one-on-one either over IM or in the comments or PMing.

I hope this is helping, I'm not really good at this "coherency" stuff. /orz

OP of the question about pace here, and it is helping thank you. I'll just get back to worrying about coherency in my app. :B
