homework

I stayed up ill about 2:30 this morning talking to Lisa. I was supposed to be Im'ing my ethics partner and working a a class project, but oh well, Fridays are definitely not made for homework. All in all, yesterday was a pretty good day. I spent the afternoon and most of the evening at my parents house. I'm house sitting for a week
and I had to get the "what to do/what not to do" lecture. I played football for a few hours and accidentally hit some ladies Jeep with the football. She was a real bitch though, I ran up to fetch it from under her bumper, and she just drove over it.
I looked at her with that "why the hell did you do that" look, and she says, "I ran over your ball." and goes into her house. I'm still standing there like.."Yeah, I noticed, but why?" We went for a walk and I showed Damien an old Firebird I'm thinking about buying. I seen an old friend of mine too. He used to be such a dork in high school but it seems since I last saw him, he transformed himself into.. Super-dork. He must be 300 lbs. I let him pass without saying anything, but I suspect the buff bitch principle, meaning just because he now has muscles, doesn't mean he's any tougher than before. He's just got an opportunity to talk shit now, and his appearance may intimidate would be bullies into not doing anything. Smart move Super-dork! anyway, I just got an e-mail from my writing professor. It was an outline of the essay we have due of October.I gonna post just the basic outline so you all can see the kind of English hell
I'll be in all month. Okay, here goes:

FIRST ESSAY: ARGUING TO DIFFERENT AUDIENCES
Project: This first writing project actually comprises 3 separate documents:

1. A short essay (about 3p) in which you argue a position to a neutral or sympathetic audience.

2. A short essay (about 3p) in which you argue the same position to a hostile audience.

3. A short (about 2p), informal reflection, in which you identify your strategies for addressing the needs and biases
of each audience, explain the reasons behind your choices, and evaluate your relative success in each case.

Yikes! 8 pages with mandatory revisions, what is she nuts? I also have the Ethics project I mentioned earlier and that's basically
an examination of the Kraft/Phillip Morris debacle. Apparently their trying to publicly battle obesity by making oreo's less fattening
or something. I think it's crap because their still legally killing people all over the world, so it looks like nothing more than a diversionary publicity stunt. If that's Ethics, I'm the Easter Bunny. I guess I'd better get started brainstorming a topic or something, Have a good Saturday.
