things i have learned in the past week...
1a. i am making far more money than i deserve/thought.
1b. i am thoroughly enjoying the self-reliance/being out of po'-dom and feeling only the slightest tinge of guilt.
2a. dan h. will get me shot at some point or another in the near future.
2b. dan h. also is a lot slower on picking up social cues than previously thought, (i.e. talking loudly about how he "rolls with the bloods" in front of a man who is obvioulsy a crip...okay it was in natick, so i give him some slack).
3. people don't grow out of their adolescent awkwardness; they simply start to sag and instead it's just like, "oh you have a gobble and loafers... THAT'S why this is uncomfortable."
(props to the commuter rail and the couple who sits next to me every day discussing uncomfortably fantasy baseball for this valuable life lesson).
4. i need to get my shit together...seriously...and stop lying/losing crap. both are bad and are going to stop RIGHT HERE. promise.
5. my scary side of the family is particularly fantastic...like my cousin screaming at me from her office, "KRISTINA!$(*&(! COME SEE PICTURES OF ME BLOWING DIRTY MEXICANS"...and boy, did she deliver.
6. it's REALLY close to my birthday.
