(no subject)
In 10 days, on Friday the 13th of May, I will be returning home to Newton, where I will reside for a little over three months before I return home to Wesleyan.
My plans for the next 10 days include:
- Finishing my paper for History of South Africa on why the Jews were totally cool with apartheid (by 4:00 tomorrow this will be done).
- Going to two naked parties. (I hope)
- Getting my period (hopefully not at said naked parties)
- Last Frisbee practice with beer and fun
- Spring Fling (aka getting trashed Wednesday afternoon on Foss hill while enjoying the sounds of Deerhoof, Antibalas and Cee-Lo)
- Mescaline
- Dying for peace
- Taking my American Government and Politics final
- Taking my Hebrew final
- Returning my library books
- Getting my creative supplement back from Reslife
- Packing up my shit and leaving
- Other stuff
My plans for the summer include:
- For the first week or two: finding a job (any suggestions?), possibly going to Bard to visit the lovely Maida while she is still there, possibly coming back to Wes to party during senior week, possibly being visited by Will and/or friends who will be at Wes for senior week.
- Working at the job that I will find in my first week home (see above)
- Going to Nashville with my parents
- Enjoying being home alone for 2 weeks while my parents are away
- Going to the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival to see Dar Williams, Ani Difranco, and my friend and future roommate Sarah.
- Camping, hiking (generally spending as much time outside as possible)
- Going to the beach as much as possible
- Being healthy (in every sense of that word)
- Reading a lot of books
- Finding a futon, or other such needed items for my room next year
- Other stuff
My plans for next year include:
- Making my room a tent-like fort that doesn't look like a dorm room
- Rooming with Sarah and it being awesome
- Missing Jess as my roommate:
, but it being ok because she's living down the hall.
- Missing Katie living down the hall, but it being ok becuase we will visit each other a lot and eat many meals together
- Cooking a lot in the new Westco kitchen
- Being a sophomore
- Enjoying my classes and hopefully choosing something I don't mind majoring in
- Playing frisbee again
- Other stuff
