This was one of my Christmas gifts; it's really cute, right? Like, adorable.
Too bad it was made for drunken sorority girls.
It takes terrible photos. My iPhone takes better pictures than this thing. I combed through the guide to see if it was just a setting, but it simply said, "If the picture is grainy or blurry, it was not taken with this camera." ...UH?
So, we're boxing it up to take it back. :C I feel absolutely terrible, since I had hyped this camera up and sent links and pictures to my mom, only to find out it only looks cute. Sigh. I just feel bad that I ran her through a wild goose chase. I'm going to give her and dad the money back. I really shouldn't get it this year.

I finally got to sleep at 8AM, and woke up about 20 minutes ago. FML. I miss mornings... I liked mornings.
Hahaha, awww, side-effects! This was when I first started taking my medicine and it was giving me weird sleeping patterns. Oh, right. I haven't fessed up I'm taking medicine now. Yup! It's awesome!

Anddd of course, my trip to Australia! A highlight of my 2009 to be sure.
Introspective Crap
For a lot of reasons, 2009 sucked. But for a lot of other reasons, 2009 was an amazing year for my development. I grew a spine and learned to speak for myself. After crushing and debilitating Depression that's been in my life for years and years, I finally stood up and got treated, and I'm now healthier and happier than I've ever been. I moved onto the cosplay scene. I got published again. I'm now in communications with Viz, and working on two children's books. I got a kitty! I moved into an apartment. I learned to cook. I met my other half on the other side of the world.
While 2009 definitely had horrible lows, I feel what I went through this year is preparing me for an absolutely stellar 2010. So YEAAAAH.
Anyhoot. WOOP.
