Dooodle duuuump.

Hey so, I'm in art school, right? That means I draw a lot, right? Yeah. So, here.

>
Here we have a little Doll Doodle, and one of Miss Laksha in a Regency gown! Isn't she cute? You know she'd rock that look.

Now, a word before you see these awful things, these are actually blueline drawings, that I've cleaned up a pinch to post. But they're nowhere near clean lineart!

Now, that said...

A character I made for a script in Mark's class. A water nymph becomes a muse for a Muchaesque painting, who visits a gentleman painter and inspires his art career.

HURDUR, THE THINGS I DRAW... Never finished this... I liked where it was going, though. I was originally gonna put them in clothing, but there seemed to be something really tender about them like this. Like stained and unstained. IDK.

I drew this for a Sushi Poster when I wasn't sure what was going on. But luckily, Chewie made an absolutely darling one, so she wasn't needed! But s'cute anyway.

I... have no idea what this is. I put Secret Garden's albums on loop laaate one night, and what I drew turned into this...fae panther thing. Heck if I know. I liked her face and upper-torso, but her feet and legs got messy.

When I get irritated, I tend to draw tiny cute little woodland creature-girls and little dollies like these.

I drew this one when I was trying to convince myself not to smash someone's face into a desk.

Bitty aminal girls make for good rage release.

I've been trying to break my mold of how I draw character designs, and utilizing shapes more. (Thanks, Goto!) I think I'm starting to understand, but I have a long way to go.

Now! Remember how I talked about the candy salesgirl on the airship idea? Well, I drew her a while ago.

She started like this...

And I tried a few different styles... But then I figured her out. And guess what? She has a friend!

That's our girl on the left, and our friend on the right. They may or may not be a couple. I dunno yet.

Originally she was going to be my maquette (I decided to do Una instead. Phew, glad I did. All of those ruffles! I would've DIED.

But in the meantime, I now have a great character turnaround for her! I kind of want to use her for my "package" project for Mark, but... At the same time, I have discovered something.

...I can't draw airships. Nope.
Not a one. I suck at em. It is NOT my gift.

While yeah, I can draw frilly clothes and nice steampunk FASHION, I really am not skilled with machinery, and that would be sorta the kiss of death making or breaking a Steampunk story.

But none the less...

They sure have cute faces!

SPEAKING of original characters, do not steal, look who I drew!

It's a Lir! Lookin' mighty girly gay handsome.

And here we have a laughing little Adee. Go ahead, let your teeth decay at how cute the idea of a teeny Adee is. Go on, rot.

Aaaand have that be ruined by a wall-eyed close-up. D'oh. I thought this was good, till I realized how gosh-darned wall-eyed he is. orz.

And to add to your WTF folder, here's Odette holding a swan. Now. During Aesthetics, my professor mentioned an analogy (All the swans I've ever seen are white, therefore all swans are white, is a fallacy, since there are in fact, black swans, etc). ... Thus, I drew Odette with a swan. I just liked her smile.

Drew this for Miss Brandy on the request, "DRAW UNDERTAKER AND CIEL!" ...I dunno how much he appreciates that... UHUHUHUHU...

WARNING, MORBID TIME.

I did not sit down and go, "HEY! IMMA DRAW THREE CREEPY VICTORIAN DEAD KIDS. SOUNDS AWESOME." There's an old folksong, "The Three Babes", that describes a woman who loses her three children, and they appear to her as ghosts, and they describe themselves in their graves, and that they have to go home to heaven. I'm thinking of adapting that for Mark's Halloween story contest he does. :'D ...and then well this happened.

And you guys know I'm morbid as hell. So there you go.

Uh, other explanation. I've had three consecutive dreams about going to a ball. Three different ballgowns, all of which I've apparently had to make at the last minute. This is the first one. It was so vivid in my mind I had to draw it immediately. It was a rich dark blue plaid shot with red and black threads. There was black tulle and netting, and there were patches. I know that sounds bad, but man, it looked SO COOL.

At the request of Alicia, here we have Poor, Poor Tim Drake being molested by a herd of overexcited Impulses. I've been inching my way into Western comics, but it's slow, and pretty confusing. So far I like the Bats and the Robins. I KINDA have them sorted out.

Why yes, that IS Madam Red. Only Annay and I will get this one. All you need to know is, it's RP faggotry, Madam is a death angel like Grell, and... you know what, you guys probably don't care, moving on.

Yeaaaah mmmkay enough of that foolishness. I need to draw GOOD things.
