Still here! (and second Garden d'Lights trip of 2009)
I didn't really use this journal as much as I should have in 2009. This year had its moments, but I would just say of 2010: there's room for improvement. Perhaps the biggest change in my own life is that I'm at the University of Washington now, slowly making my way towards a BS in Computing Systems.
Just like in January, AH and I made it to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens under the almost-blue moon last night for another round of Garden d'Lights, the night-time illuminated decoration extravaganza. This year, there was no ice and snow, which perhaps made it less stunning, but at least helped in the safe navigation of the paths. Also, joining the frog, spider, and Willie the Slug were quite a few new critters, hidden all throughout the paths! I particularly liked the geckos, alligator, and octopus.
