Still important
It's Election Day and around here at least, there are a lot of vital issues even if it's been a year since The Big One.
Unfortunately, demands at school prevent me from going into this in as great detail as I have in the past. For now, I'm just going to jot down a quick list of hopes:
Most importantly, I hope that Referendum Measure 71, confirming same-sex partnerships, passes.
Next, I hope that stealth right-wing nut Susan Hutchison loses the County Executive's race to Dow Constantine.
I hope that Referendum Measure 1033, Tim Eyman's latest brainchild, fails.
Lastly, I hope we finally get some decent people in the Redmond City Council, but I'm not holding my breath.
