Sort-of hiatus, and a request
I probably should mention that I'm on sort of a mini-hiatus - comments and emails will be answered, but with the start of school, and work (yay for mroe hours!) and family on top of it, I just haven't had time to even read Livejournal at all. If I've missed anything important, please email me.
On another note, I have a request: a long-time friend of mine has gotten the chance to participate in the Miss Arizona USA pageant, and she is in need of sponsors to help with pageant expenses. Here's what the deal is from her:
"My goal is about $2k, and I've gotten only $545 of that so far. Obviously, I don't expect that much from any one source. Basically, whoever sponsors me gets their name in the pageant book next to my listing, and if they want, depending on the amount they sponsor me for, they can get actual ad space - like a page, half page, quarter page, or whatever. Businesses can deduct the sponsorship because it counts as advertising."
An extremely intelligent student and web designer, she is very much not the stereotypical pageant contestant. If you'd be willing to sponsor her (even a little helps), or at least spread the word to see if we can drum up other sponsors, that would be awesome.
