Bike MS 2008
Hey LJ buddies!! I know I've been MIA for a bit, mostly because I've been busy spending oodles of time with my HUSBAND, whee!! It's nice finally having him home :-) Also, my computer died. It's being fixed. Pray for it.
Now that I'm back, I really need to ask you something: Will you help us?
See, there's this bike ride that helps raise money to help people with Multiple Sclerosis. My mother-in-law, Lisa, is one of those people. Some days she's OK, but some days she really suffers.Today she couldn't get out of bed until 1pm because of the muscle spasms and fatigue. She had been in bed for 20 hours at that point Sometimes her vision fails her, and sometimes whole limbs are temporarily paralyzed. Nobody should have to live like that, uncertain if you'll be able to get out of bed today or if your legs will stop working mid-step. I need you guys to help combat this disease.
So I ask you, PLEASE DONATE!! We want to raise at least $1000 and so far have received generous donations totaling $250. Let's keep it going!!
Even just $10 or $25 does wonders!! I hope you'll see how important this is to me and Jesse and donate on our behalf so we can reach our goal. You can do so online at our Bike MS personal page:
