Someone's got a case of the Sundays...
Yesterday was just one of those days. It started early and I knew by how it started it was going to suck.
There is a girl who I really like and I spent the night over at her place. But it's not what you pervs might think. She said she really likes me. Now, I know what you're thinking what's so bad about that? There is one problem, she is hung up on her ex. I know exactly what she is going through. Even though you want to move on, you have trouble doing so. So, getting involved with her at this point would be a bad idea because I know she is not ready for anything. It wouldn't be fair to her or me if that did happen. So, that's the first sucky thing. I can't get involved with a girl I have feelings for even though there is a mutual attraction.
Then when I was leaving her place I go outside to get my bike and it was stolen. I had just fixed the chain on the bike. It had gotten bent somehow and that made it not easy to ride. Earlier in the week I unbent it and it was working like new. I had even cleaned it up and made sure everything was working perfectly. Then I come to find it stolen. It doesn't help the fact that it was a pretty nice bike; a good Trek one. So, that just made matters worse.
Then I had to go to work. I didn't sleep well and I tried to sleep before work, but it was graduation day and I was constantly woke up by the band playing at commencement. So, here I was at work falling asleep while trying to deal with customers. One group particularly stood out. It was two guys and girl. They wanted to play In The Groove together. So, one of them put in their dollar and pressed start and the other guy put in his dollar after the first guy's game started. The second guy comes up to me telling me he wanted to play with his friend and that he didn't get in on time. He wanted his money back. I told him there was nothing I could do about it. We are only supposed to give refunds for when the game messes up. The machine gave him credit for his money and the fact he didn't join in time is his fault. So, when I told him that I couldn't do anything he and the girl he was with started getting upset. He started making excuses saying it says, The machine says it's a dollar, how come two people can't play for a dollar?" Later a couple comes up and tries to take a couple of hats by saying they had 1200 tickets. I counted them up and they had half that. First of all, don't try and take something. Second, don't lie about what you have. To make it even better this couple tried to say they have been waiting for the past 25 mins at the counter, when I was at it and just finished helping people and then since it was the end of the night went to the back and filled up the mop bucket and took it the front of the store. Then after the moron cople a douchebag, who probably was sharing a brain with the other two, tries to steal hats. Who the hell tries to steal those crappy ass hats from an arcade?
So, that was my day. A whole bunch of shit all day long. Hooray for days like yesterday.
