Jared stood in front of his bed, staring... It was a lovely dress, he had to accept that, but he didn't want it... Not if it came from the person he thought it came from...
The blue dress with crowns and cameos with poodles was sprawled on his bed, Shannon said he honestly had no idea where the damn thing came from, and he looked as surprised with the existence of the damned thing that Jared had to believe him... There was a small note with his name in it, and Jared unfolded it.
“I love my walking birthday cake...” It said, and Jared didn't really know if he should laugh or cry... There was also an address, he didn't know if he should be excited about it, but he dressed as fast as he could and got made up, then begged Shannon to drive him to that place, after saying “No fucking way” repeatedly, Shannon finally conceded defeat after Jared gave him his best “kicked puppy look”, and he drove him to a far away cottage close to the Californian beach.
“Wow... Fancy...” Shannon said, while Jared got out of the car. “Have fun, I'll pack your shit and send it back...”
“What? But, Shannon...”
He was already gone, Jared stood there, looking at the car as it left, wondering what he should do... He decided entering the cottage was the best idea.
And what a sight it was from the inside! Elegant Victorian furniture adorned the inside, there was a table near the balcony, with two chairs and some candles in the center, Jared walked hesitantly inside, he was close to the table when he felt strong arms wrapping around his waist, Jared stood there, letting himself be held by the only person he really loved.
“I wanted my girlfriend back... I really missed her...” Colin said, holding Jared a little bit tighter. Jared sighed.
“She missed you too... But what you said...”
“I was an idiot... It took this for me to figure out that I can't live without you... I want nothing but to be with you forever...”
“Even if I'm a walking birthday cake?”
“Why don't you turn into a wedding cake then?” Colin turned Jared around and kissed his lips gently. “I love you...”
And Jared figured being a cake wasn't bad...
And the dress this week is Royal Poodle
