Alexandra was drunk... Something that never happened because... Well, Alexandra hated alcohol... She was disgusted with any alcoholic beverages and would not even look at wine... Tonight, however, Cleitus had poked her tirelessly about having just a sip of wine, and that sip became at least four goblets, and now she was swaying on a couch, Cleitus on one side and Philotas on the other, singing silly songs in spanish and teaching them to the Generals, also, telling them shortly after what the lyrics meant, which made the drunk Generals -who were as drunk as she was, or higher in their cups- crack up and made the blond Philotas fall off the couch.
Hephaistion giggled from where he was sitting, next to the King, who looked at the girl in amazement, had he known she would become so festive when drunk, he would have invited her to drink sooner, Alexander watched as the girl stumbled against Perdiccas, who was blushing like an apple, and she kissed his cheek, making as much noise as she could, everyone laughed, except Perdiccas.
He somehow felt his heart was breaking in millions of pieces, because when someone is drunk, no feeling is ever real...

Alexandra could see it... It was as if the mask of indifference and coldness had broken suddenly, and out of the blue, Cassander was pretty interested in what he was looking at...
They had finally arrived in Rome... It was a beautiful place to be at, and the Emperor had been quite polite and decided to come to an agreement instead of taking the war way... Now, the Emperor and Alexander were having a pretty pleasant conversation... Somewhere... Hephaistion sat next to Alexandra, and looked as bored as a human being can look, until the girl elbowed his ribs and pointed at Cassander.
He was staring at one of the Emperor's guests, his dark blond hair fell graciously on both sides of his face, his eyes were a strange combination of gray, cerulean and green, they changed colors when he laughed, when he was concentrated in something, or when he was angry, his childlike face was covered in freckles and he had a charming smile. Alexandra smiled, noticing the interest in Cassander's eyes, and looked at Hephaistion, who was trying not to giggle.
“So he DOES have feelings after all...” said the General.
“Apparently...”
Now Alexandra was curious.
