Of flu and pastries

Shikamaru,

My friend told me to tell you he will cover for you anytime you need at the mission room, and that you don't need to bribe him for that, especially since you're sick and NEED rest. BTW, the chocolates were excellent, the mocha was perfect (though some alcohol from a corrected espresso would have been just as wonderful);, and the ( Read more... )

Sensei, I don't you're supposed to be 'drinking' during your shift, hmm? Why, aren't you supposed to be setting an example? tsk tsk tsk. I'll believe your friend but if it starts to hurt, then it's not my fault. It's too troublesome to deal with toothaches.

My Flu is better. Mostly gone. That horrid tasting_>

Well, I AM not supposed to drink during my shift. But maybe my friend could. I'll have to ask him. Since few people know of him, he wouldn't need to set the example.
I'm glad that horrid taste got rid of part of the inconveniences of having a flu. You'll think twice before acting macho and refusing blankets now.
Hm, my friend told me he has one or two chocolates left. I think I'm going to ask him to share to cheer me up in my grading.

Sensei, imaginary friends are the first sign of insanity *smirk*

I'm glad I got over it to and I have you to thank for that. And I wasn't acting macho!

Give it to your lover sensei.

Lover??? Where the hell have you heard your sensei has a lover? I want to meet them. Nobody told me!
Not that I don't have success with women. They fawn at my feet. Yes they do! I just am too busy (what with grading saving the world) for them. They cry because of me, you know? I'm a Don Juan.
"I'm a poor lonesome cowboy ninja..."
Smirking at me, are you? Hm, I think the amount of chocolates you left wasn't enough to save you from my (imaginary or not, you brat) friend's wrath. You better watch out.
And here I'm doing the evil villains laugh. Fear.
Not acting macho? Hah! Suicidal maybe, then?

Sensei, I understand. Asuma-sensei denied being with Kurenai for a while too. It's okay *laughing his butt off at Iruka*

Suicidal? No. Just Hot.

Yes, so hot you caught a cold. How ironic. Know that I'm snickering at you.

Asuma-sensei was - is - loved by many who will - and do - regret him. As for me, from where I stand, I will not leave any romantic regrets behind shall I need to give my life to Konoha.
Then, as you say, I may be in denial. Now that would make your day. Care to give me a name of whom my denial should go to?

T-That's not funny! D:

In a way. I guess. I ... do not think Asuma-sensei had any regrets. He was happy, felt it, enjoyed, and left a legacy behind. I think ... no, I believe we shouldn't regret anything we do. Village comes first, yes, but ... ahhh, this is troublesome.

You tell me who it is. You're the one being as happy as a daisy, sensei. *sarcasm*

Happy as a daisy, hm? Want me to open the windows again, do you?
And your sarcasm doesn't affect me. You forgot I use it daily with annoying late-report-handing shinobi.
Hah!

Oh... Is that my friend I hear calling me?
Oh, he's saying he's bored. Should I go and tell him you're bored too? Maybe he could have some fun. He could demonstrate how good he is with itching powder and water-resistant paint. What do you think?
