snapshot impressions of je groups
Journaling this for keepsake purposes, because it's fun to look back. I actually do go back and read my old entries sometimes - it's a fun way to look back at what I was into and doing at different times in my life. ...and sometimes it's just funny to see how impressions change. I actually wish I'd logged more back then. looking at old emails is equally fun too though. Anyhow, this whole thing has been sitting on my back burner for a while, while I just keep adding to it, so I figured I should just get it out. XD; ...especially since it's already so long.

Kanjani8 impressions from around 2006-2008ish? So, I wasn't a fan at this point. ...but I was getting fed a bunch of links, pretty steadily by someone who was a fan, let's call her m. ..plus watching some old juniors stuff which some of them were in too.
Ryo-chan: like! dramas <3 and he's hot/cute <3
Subaru: m's fave. Artistic and good vocals, actually really shy despite appearances. moody, skull-chan, etc. I basically absorbed more info on him since I was getting more info about him.
Yoko: 大白。orz. the chinese fan's "affectionate" nickname. Loud. cares what people think of him.
Hina: fangs. least johnnys-like. Also loud.
... and three other guys: no idea which is which. they're forgetable. kanjimi3. ( current me: ...omg I die the most because of this. Maru-chan~ ;A; forgive me! )
Oh, and of course Uchi: angst and drama around him. Pink. non-stop symbolism discussion. when will he ever come back?! etc, etc, etc. General vague impression of him? Very skinny, and kind of flamboyant.
Somewhere 2014ish? Shortly after I start finally recognizing the last 3 kanjani8 members and before I start stanning Maru. ....these impressions, they kill me in ways I can't explain. *sob* I am so so so sorry guys. *cries brokenly*

so, I know Kato Shigeaki(?) Shige-chan... only because he has that long running girlfriends article thing with Maru and they do things in their private time. He seems into writing, and general impression I have is that he's emo-ish (lol) and intellectual. Other than that, I think this is where tegomass came from, so Tegoshi must be here? Who's the mass part? Did he leave? That and I'm not sure what Tegoshi looks like. One of the pair of them has a small round face. Uchi and Ryo and Yamapi used to be in the group too. ...clearly it's bled members.

Kame is in this. Koki used to be in this. ...as well as Akanishi Jin. So, they lost A and T, leaving KTUN? I think one of those letters is some guy who was in Boys on the Run with Maru. Ok, there's Chinen-kun whom I briefly fanned around the time this group came out. So clearly I know who he is. And Yamada Ryousuke, who I love/hated also briefly at that time. His acting seems to have improved a little, just based on his appearance in Jigoku Sensei Nube. And Nakajima(?) Yuta - who looks way the hell older now. Dunno any of the others. I vaguely see names around. Maybe a Daioka? or something? dunno.

And he shows up frequently on their janiben segment. Also not sure how many people are in the group, but it seems like a larger group too. ie, more than 4-5.
Are there other groups? I don't know. lol

Koyama: Announcer MC type. Least visually appealing to me, but seems the hardworking overlooked type.
Shige-chan: Still cute, intellectual, writes novels. My impression of him hasn't changed much. Oh - hilariously, when I was passing these things onto m, she mentioned that her impression of him from her k8 fangirling days (2006-2010ish I think?) , was that he was anti-social. Didn't have any johnnys friends, and had the least presence in News. XD;;;
Tegoshi - (please don't stone me...) weird. flamboyant. flaming? ...what happened to him as he got older? XD
Masuda - He's the small face I remember. Now I know his name. ...and sadly not much else. He seems cute, in a pat the head kind of a way.

they're on hiatus and I feel sorry for them. ...talk about bleeding members, sheesh. Oh, and I now know more of the members names too. I won't include impressions of Koki and Jin, since they've left and I really don't have updated impressions of them.
Kame - Impressions of him haven't really changed much. Other than that I feel sorry for him, since he works hard and clearly wants to succeed.
Taguchi - he just recently left. Seems goofy. Apparently idolized Yoko. You know, the iriguchi, deguchi, taguchi desu~ thing.
Ueda - he's easy on the eyes, though apparently has a temper. looks cute in ryucheru-style clothing.
Nakamaru - I think I may have finally stopped getting him confused with Koyama. For the longest time, I thought they were one person. ^^;;;

Yabu - I only know what he looked like as a junior. XD;; I can't identify him now that he's older. He was was super cute when he was young though. short and small. I don't actually know what his full name is. I'm assuming Yabu is a nickname.

XD;; I once again feel positively towards them as a whole after the brief dip of negative feels when all the K8 graduating was happening. They're funny and cute and following in their senpai's footsteps. I hilariously still am not entirely sure how many members there are. I think it's 7, but it could be 8. lol ^^;;;
Shigeoka Daiki: He's legit cute imho. I think he's probably the eye-catcher in the group. Whic is confirmed by his group color, red. Unless he's also the lead vocal? ...I'm under the impression that he's not though. The smile is cute, as is the mischeviousness and the thick brows.
Hama-chan: I don't actually know his full name. XD I think he's older and that he's supposed to be a steadying member? He's not immediately visually appealing to me. I'm guessing personality really adds. For some reason I think he's supposed to be talented. I can't remember why I think this though. He has abs I think. ...I would have preferred not to know that. XD;;;
Kiriyama Akito: I think he might have been part of B.A.D? It's either him or Fujii Ryusei. I used to get them confused. I probably still do a little. He's cute. I didn't used to thing so before. Apparently repeated exposure improves things. ^^;
Nakama Junta: He was definitely part of B.A.D. He has big lips. I don't know much else about him.
Fujii Ryusei: I think he's acted in a bunch of stuff. ...although I've only seen him in Samurai Sensei, which isn't enough to be able to tell what his acting is like. He isn't visually appealing to me. I think he has 2 sisters who are also in the entertainment business. They are hot.
Non-chan: I think his full name might be Kotaki Nozomu? ...if so, he has a cool name. He's cute in a button sort of way. Although he didn't seem to be as cute when he was younger? (to me) Or at least in the pics I've seen. I guess he's grown into himself? dunno. For some reason, I have the vague impression that he is hyper and possibly spastic.
