Here's where I babble about the Mars drama (yes, the taiwanese idol drama one. -_-;). The one that's based off the Japanese manga. I just adore the opening sequence. I wish I could clip it out and share it. But the versions I have are not avi files, and I'm not about to go install yet another utility on the computer just to be able to clip it

PS: I actually don't like what'shisface, which is normal for me since if you ask all my friends they'll tell you I don't tend to like nasty, vindictive, evil characters no matter how good-looking they are... ^^; But I agree with you anyhow! He's supposed to be pretty and easy to mistake for a girl! He sounds miscast! Suck.

Speaking of dorama, one of these days I'll watch GTO, which I have languishing on CD here. ^^;

well,I won't lie and say I like the evil people, because I usually don't. I really like people who are authentically nice! But characters like Ginji have other problems... in his case, being TOO NICE when it's completely retarded to behave that way, and of course the attendant idiocy that all Japanese writers appear to think accompanies niceness. I've bitched about this before and I probably will again, but it really pisses me off that at least in fiction, nice = stupid. Only the evil are intelligent! It's like in Spaceballs - "Evil will always triumph over Good, because Good is dumb

Yes, you should post this in your lj. :) So, not stupid and nice, nice and kicks ass? I think most anime/manga characters which I've seen which are nice and not stupid seem to be the ones which are nice/honorable/bookish type and not nice/cute. Realistically? The two should not be mutually exclusive, but for some reason, I've yet to see an anime/manga character both nice/cute and really smart.

I never actually finished watching the GB series, but isn't Ginji the way he is (waffling about whether to use his skillz) because he has issues w/being Raitei? ...I don't think that's necessarily bad. Annoying for the viewer yes, but it's not because he's just weak and delusional (thinking that the enemy is actually going to back down). Although if he were to stay that way forever and never actually work through whatever issues he's having, that's pretty bad/weak.
