What's up in Peoria of late.
Gail aka dariaclearwater has started work as an attending. For me that means Insurance starts on Aug 1st and this is important for many reasons. (I have an issue that can only be fixed by surgery) So my life is still a little on hold but at least I have an appointment.
I have been very "active" in the local church, helping start a new post college/career ministry, working with toddlers and 3 to 4 year olds on Tuesdays. The church is paying me to play with small children for a few hours each Tuesday. OK they are paying me to play with some cool toys also. Nothing gets a child interested in a toy faster than someone else having a great time with that toy.
I am looking forward to financial solvency soon. The last year has been very tough on dariaclearwater and me. All in all I think it has made both of us stronger and closer together. 12 years of wedded bliss and counting.
