IT'LL NEVER WEAR OFF. ONCE YOU GO BLACKY YOU NEVER GO BACKYumbreon_blackyNovember 23 2010, 03:17:11 UTC
God. DAMN. As much as she wanted to hate him for his lineage, this kid was just too endearing. But he wasn't his father. She just had to remember that.
Blacky put an arm around his shoulders, absent-mindedly fussing over his hair. "So. How do you plan to go about training your heart, hm?"
This was the problem he ran into last time he tried before arriving here. Unless we're talking about attract it's not like you can just press the nice button and suddenly you love and trust your pokemon. He thought about it but as nice of an idea as it was, he just had no idea how to go about it. Finally he just shrugged.
"I don't know..." unsurprisingly now that he's basically just admitted that he needs someone that isn't himself, and that he can be wrong sometimes, admitting ignorance wasn't nearly as painful.
The cuddling certainly helped though it reminded him of when he was a little kid sitting with his mommy
She couldn't really blame him for not knowing where to start. Even she couldn't come up with a quick and easy solution for that. Emotions were stubborn things.
"...Do you have any of your Pokemon on you? Let one out, and we'll see if we can't figure something out."
Well, yeah. At any given moment he had 3 of his pokemon on him and if he knew he was going in for a battle he'd carry his whole team on him. Given today was a training day, he only had 3. It didn't take much thought before taking Meganium's pokeball off his belt. While Golbat was also on him, he always had a bit of a bias towards his first pokemon.
Same as before, the grass pokemon was a bit puzzled as to why it was being brought out of it's pokeball if it wasn't for training or a battle. at least the pretty flower smell is getting rid of the cigarette smell
Blacky stood and raised a hand for the Meganium to sniff and, if allowed, rub his nose.
"Hello there... Now, Silver. Lesson one is understanding your Pokemon. Don't expect me to provide translations for you; if you pay attention you should easily get the gist of it on your own. Does he have a name?"

Ah, what a sweet smell...
