It's Mother's Day.

I'm not sure what to think. He is my son, but I hardly have any right to claim to be his mother. Even if I had been there to raise him this far... I doubt I would have done a very good job. I couldn't even take care of a mere fish tank. He's in capable hands, and my interference would only cause problems. Rationalizing doesn't make it hurt any less... Why am I even bothering?

I'd still like to see him today. A trip to Kanto on such short notice is out of the question, but... perhaps I could put this old webcam to good use. I just hope they're home.

What on earth has everybody so convinced that there's been an eloping of some sort? You can't believe everything you hear, you know. ♥ Not until there's a proper article in the Kanto League tabloids, anyway. How romantic it must be if it's true, though! Not that I'm going to put any belief in mere rumours, mind you.

It almost is the time of year so popular for weddings, isn't it? Proper ones, that is. Goodness. We have a few engagements within our school, don't we~? I hope you lucky couples aren't planning on just eloping too.

mother's day, love
