Meow?
HI! Wee postage in the library! I tried to find Smitty after the assembely, but he doesn't seem to be around. So I'm here, in the library, writing in LJ about nothing, and looking up college applications. It's great. I think I'm going to get this application off this weekend, the latest. The Ontario Colleges site says that St. Lawrence College here in Brockville offers musical theatre. I'm rather scared at the thought, and wondering why I was never informed of this before. Not that I'd ever EVER go to school in Brockville for college, but thats not the point. Turns out Humber has a really good preforming arts program, with Acting For Film and Television as a degree, which is quite sweet, if I do say so myself. they also have Music - Voice, which is fun. So I shall be applying to Humber, just because I have 5 application spaces to play with.
So last night I went looking for Kiss Me Kate practice. Didn't find it. That bothered me. I had to drive Bill up to some school to see if it was there.. it wasn't. And then Bill got his foot caught in a bag and he flipped out and pulled a muscle in his leg... Not fun. Anyways, we met up with Mr.Mitchell there, and he gave Bill a ride to wherever they were going, because I had to get going to voice lessons.
Voice lessons were amazing. Ann Landon really does know her stuff, and she isn't hesistant to challenge people. Last night, she had me to my range of notes, and sing Think of Me, which I had been working on. Then, when we were choosing music, she decided that I could sing the music Seanna sung last year because she said I could definatly handle it. That was a relly big shocker, cause Seanna is SO good at voice and I'm... not as good. So to hear that was definatly awesome. So I'm going to prepare music for auditions, just in case, and then get some regular stuff in for the festival and for Sherridan applications.
*is bothered by St. Lawrence College* WHY MUST THE ONLY OTHER MUSIC THEATRE PROGRAM IN ONTARIO BE IN BROCKVILLE! I REFUSE TO LIVE AT HOME! Sweet bejesus, thats a load of crap man... but god knows I'll apply for shits and giggles.
*sighs* I had my interview yesterday at Jumbo Video. I wonder how I did... I'll get called back today they said. I hope I did well. If not, well, FabricLand might have an opening soon. ^_^
