Well, I've made it good and official now.
I've signed a contract with Maple Bear Pyeongchon, which is in Anyang. It's pretty much an eikaiwa for little kids, but it pays better than ALTing will, and I'll be working with 20 other Canadians there, which will be madness. I'm really hoping that I'll be close enough to Seoul to keep up with my hobbies (note: musical theatre and tap) and will be living a quiet life so I can visit people in Japan and run away to a tropical island for Christmas.
Anyone up for a Christmas tropical paradise? Lets spend my birthday on the international date line. Or something. I don't know.
I am so tired you have no idea. I spent all day running around, looking for a notary, and now I think I finally have everything sorted. I will keep running around tomorrow, and get my visa sent off and be done with that for two weeks. Then Saturday will be Crazy Japan Packing Madness.
Everything feels really surreal right now.
My cat wouldn't let me sleep last night, because my mom moved her bed and the cat Did Not Approve.
This is pretty much how I feel right now.
So now I'm full of exhaustion and melatonin because lol anxiety had me crying today over these stupid fucking forms.
Awesome bit of last news: My insurance from the call centre seems to still work. Cue me calling my doctor in the AM to get him to do an advance release on some prescriptions before that ends. :D!
Other last note: Those of you heading off on vacation: Try to remember to get some FGKS stuff and send me it! I'll love you forever! If you could do some long things (like, singing/mouthing lines from the versus and the chorus), country shots, and then short clips that can fit in with the multiple "HEY!" lines (aka, things that can be 1 second short and not look abrupt) , that would be fantastic. :D
