Entrevista del 2009 a Takeuchi, con menciones a Chris y Jill
Esto es un poco old news, pero creo que es para las cuatro que andamos por aquí very relevant to our interests.
Sobre el 2009, hubo una entrevista con Jun Takeuchi, que si mal no recuerdo es el productor de Resident Evil y trabajó en los dos primeros juegos también. Los fans podían mandar sus preguntas y él respondía; y alguien saltó con esta maravillosa pregunta sobre Chris y Jill:
Question: Is there really something going on between Chris and Jill? Capcom has this trend to not show relationships between characters. But are you going to at least bend these rules a little bit and at least show that there will be something that shows these two are together? Just so we could set our minds at ease, after ten years of these non-romantic relationships between lead characters."
Y la respuesta fue aún más maravillosa:
Answer: For the Resident Evil series, it's kind of a rule for the scenario writers that we don't have these romantic relationships in the games. If Chris were real, and you asked him what the deal was with him and Jill, he would just say "Oh, well, she's my partner, you know?" but deep down inside you know they probably have some kind of feelings for each other. They just don't say it.
En resumen: SON CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON *baila como si no hubiera un mañana*. (Ok, antes lo sabíamos, peor ahora ya es kinda oficial inclusivo si no lo dicen en los juegos). Esto me hace tan estúpidamente feliz que no es ni normal XD.
