This week is going to be a crazy one, but I think I can handle it. Today I totally slacked off on doing homework and I'm kind of annoyed at myself about that about now. I could have totally plowed through the passage of "Huck Finn" that I have to read but I took forever to do my other work.
Marching band was frustrating tonight. It's the usual frustrations--forgetting stupid things, sorting out four different tempos going at once, dealing with people who don't get it, etc. More often than not, I'm annoyed with myself since I do stupid things like forget a random horn position or go 16 counts instead of 20. We also had to close a hole since we're never getting a fourth mello at this point, and since I'm next to them I have to adjust a bunch of forms. We have a performance on Saturday. I'm skipping practice on Friday because of Turning Point, so I'm not a little apprehensive about that. I just hope that nothing major changes that I won't know about.
I start tutoring at the Centers for Learning tomorrow. I'm learning to be a writing tutor. It's a little sooner than I expected, but it should be fine. It's early in the semester, so I doubt that there will be people beating down the door to have papers worked on. Tomorrow I'm doing South Campus 10:30-12:30. Wednesday is going to be the harder day: 8:30-10:30 on North Campus. I guess I should bring some homework or a book with me just in case, although I'll probably be getting to know the resources there.
The club fair is on South Campus tomorrow. If you're around, stop by to say hi. Tomorrow the club fair is on North.
My project is still flying. I'm working on doing a quick survey of people, so there's been a whole mess of papers filed to get that done.
So, my schedule tomorrow is a little on the absurd side since I probably won't eat lunch. It will probably run: tutoring, club fair, meet with a prof for office hours, class, maybe eat, run to Fox, work on office stuff, eat dinner, more office stuff, Leadership Council, and then back here. For homework, I need to eventually work on a reading response on Huck Finn, which I have yet to read, make sure I have all trivial characters from Henry IV Part I memorized (stupid quizzes that we have...), and work on my thesis.
