Many things to consider
I have it now. The Sacred Blade. As I hold it I can feel him. I can feel his life force. My life force. I feel a bit more at peace with the sword's hilt gripped in my hands. If I am his reincarnation then I have always been thus. The Spirits made me aware of it but naught has changed between me toiling with the village basil worker and their telling me. It is still hard, I still feel an ache, but perhaps the answers to my questions lie in my quest.
Nobody is providing them to me, that is for certain. What I learn about myself is what they would rather I remain ignorant of. Was he the First? Was there aught before him? Are we both later Personas of a more ancient Anima? I read once of the War of the Triforce and the first King to rise out of it. Gustaf, the First King of Hyrule, ended the war with an ancient blade called the Four Sword. This is common knowledge, yes, but is he somehow connected to me and the tunic I wear? There are stories of a wizard and a princess and a village boy but, alas, those tales are lost to the dusts of Time. I know these things though I feel there are people who wish I did not. Must I be born again repeatedly in a state of ignorance? People talk over me as if I were not there or as if they think I do not understand. And I have visions. . .there is music and voices in the dark. Like dreams. Fragmented memories of another's lifetime.
It is all so complex. What if I am born again later and have to awaken once more? What would happen to a boy who holds many generation's worth of memory?
It is of no consequence. I am here now. I should do what I am here to do. Stop the Twilight. And the next step is gathering those Heartless. If any of you see the beasts of which Ansem spoke let Midna and I know.
