Its been a lot of days since my last confession....since Oct. 11th, 2007 in fact.
I'm not entirely sure of the point of this entry, but one has to start somewhere, and rambling is something i'm generally good at.
Hmm. Well its 1am and I should be in bed resting up for a big fun filled Monday. Work is stressful these days. But at least it isn't boring for the most part. I still work at the Ministry of Education. Although, I have a new job, or well new since I last talked to you. I'm now a Lead Adviser inthe Early Childhood team. We do everything from regulations (most of my work) to curriculum and professional development. At least I feel like I am making a difference.
I haven't been to the gym in a few weeks. Bad Jules. Really its just going to end up hurting me or well my personal trainer is on Tuesday. I starting having personal training sessions to get my leg and foot back up to strength and its working. Now he thinks its time to get me fit. Oh dear lord. Really that means tomorrow I'd better get myself to the gym to prepare for Tuesdays session. Eik.
Our anniversary is coming up soon. 4 years. It doesn't feel like 4 years - but is a great feeling. I love my Bridget with my whole heart. Moving here is the best thing that I have ever done. We have been engaged for a while now. If only I could get my act together and decide what country to have a wedding in and when we'd be all set.
Its been just over 3 years since I left Canada. Very weird. Life has changed so much since then. I even feel like a grown up most days. I have a real job with good pay (just one not 3!), a job that I like, and I even manage people, a wonderful fiance, am head in heels in love, money in the bank (even a savings account!), I have paid off both of my credit cards and now working on my student loan (a long way to go still). Very very weird. I have even begun saving for retirement. Pretty much the exact opposite to my life before I left.
So much more to ramble about, but then I will have nothing to say tomorrow :)
On that note, I think I am going to curl up in my new bed with my new fluffy duvet (its winter here and freaking cold!). Good night.
*grin*
