turkey dinner success!
So, we made a turkey dinner don't ya know. For the first time ever I made this attempt and it was a total and complete success!! Holy crap I couldn't believe it. Tams and I make good house wives.

Tams started the turkey. And we're off!

i'm using my mom's recipe cos it's sooooooo good.
we even started the cranberry sauce from the start, cos we're really awesome.
we made candied yams. or to be more correct we made candied yam. this was ONE yam.
we also made pie instead of buying it. this was the better choice. the pie was goooood.
the turkey was supposed to finish at 5:30 but it finished at 3:45. but it's okay we had piping hot perfect turkey in the end!
for the first time in more than 2 years we ate at the kitchen table. it cleaned up rather nicely i feel.

Also we went to Gogol Bordello on Friday and it was sooo awesome. Eugene Hutz is my hero.
They were so energetic and so on fire. They played so many songs, the energy was great and everyone had a blast. I wish I could go back in time and see it again.
