Those that took the chance of coming into Umbridge's office today would notice a few changes. One, she's had to light candles to get any kind of light into the office since her electricity seems to not be working. Anakin closed his eyes and let out a frustrated sigh. "What did you do to them?" he asked, voice quiet.

"I defended myself," she stated. "And it was nothing more than a spell that kept him away from me."

"The same one I used on your son who also moved to assault me," she clarified sharply. "I am allowed to defend myself."

"Luke didn't try to assault you," Anakin replied flatly. "And if you're using that standard as an excuse to get around our no-wand agreement, we're going to have a problem."

"I felt threatened," she said. "If I feel threatened, I will defend myself. The student this morning tried to hit me. I defended myself."

Anakin burst out laughing. "I'm sorry," he said, getting himself together, "but really? Really? You're a powerful witch. Did they honestly think that was going to work?"

"I really have no idea," she said, almost smiling herself. "Needless to say, it didn't work. And I doubt he tries again."

"He's not in the clinic, right?" Anakin checked. "Because there's defense and then there's a full body cast."

Like he was really one to talk about making a point in a way that ensured the person wouldn't come back for more.
